Munksjö provides materials for innovative product design. We serve a broad range of industries in consumer and industrial sectors. We are a niche player providing a concentrated selection of high value-added paper products and holding a market-leading position in a number of specific specialty papers:
- upgrading laminate surfaces for furniture, flooring and interior design
- abrasive backings for the production of most coated abrasive shapes
- insulation in high-voltage cables
- interleaving to the steel industry
Our solutions and products are organized in three business areas:
Decor paper is used for upgrading laminate surfaces in flooring, furniture and interior design. It also includes Decor base and Thin Print Paper for eg pharmaceutical leaflets.
Industrial Applications include Electrotechnical paper for insulation of cables, transformers and bushings, Thin paper for protection in the stainless steel, aluminum and glass industries, Fine Art Paper and Abrasive backings for the production of most coated abrasive shapes.
Specialty Pulp includes eco-friendly bleached and unbleached kraft pulp.
