Decor papers

With our high-performance paper machines we produce premium decor papers in a wide range of colors according to customer specifications. All production is made-to-order. The share of white and light colored papers is about 50%. In further processing, more than half of all paper is printed with designs - e.g. wood grain, stone or fantasy decors. The uni-colored and printed decor papers are then impregnated with melamine resin and laminated onto a wood-based substrate such as particle board or MDF. The final application is in furniture manufacturing, interior architecture or laminate flooring. Surfaces based on melamine-impregnated decor paper offer several advantages. For example, they are resistant to scratching and light. The possibility of reproducing all kinds of designs, such as wood, stone or fantasy decor, preserves valuable resources. These include rare tropical wood.
