Rebuild of PM 12, Tolosa, Spain, completed
Focus was to improve quality (especially printability and runability) and to increase capacity.This 2.5 million Euro investment increased the PM’s capacity from some 30,000 tons/year to 33,000 tons/year and it’s speed from 600 m/min to a maximum speed up to 700m/min. Following actions were taken during rebuild:  Stock preparation and approach flow system has been modified, also the wire section, the dryer section and the dry end. A new stock recovery system was set up and the machine chest was relocated (in a new building). Installation of a new tail threading system and drive modifications.
