According to Swedish Environmental Law, Munksjö, Jönköping is a so called ”A”-class mill. The business and its environmental work are therefore controlled by decisions (conditions) made by the Environmental Court. The regional authority – “Länsstyrelsen I Jönköpings län”, maintains continuous supervision.

The goal of Electrotechnical paper business area is to produce high quality pulp and paper products for our customers with a minimum impact on the environment. We shall:
• reduce overall environmental impact through preventative measures and constant improvements that are technically feasible, financially reasonable and ecologically motivated.
• adhere to applicable environmental legislation, limitations set by authorities and other demands placed on our business.
• prioritise suppliers with environmental management systems.
• provide training and information to staff to increase their level of understanding and sense of responsibility in terms of environmental issues.
