Billingsfors Bruk was founded on May 18, 1738. It was then an iron mill making round-, bolt-, and band-iron, plates, shovels and axes.
Production of pulp started 1882 and 1923 the first two Yankee machines were installed for paper production.
The mill thus has a long history. Since 1982 it is part of Munksjö group, which today is a wholly owned by EQT.
Today we are a modern mill using high technology to produce special paper and foil qualities. The mill is splitted in two Divisions:
Thin Paper and Spantex.
