Steel Interleaving Paper
To protect the steel plate between the various rolling stages, it is rolled up with paper between the layers. The paper reduces the tension in the rolls and protects the surfaces from contact with each other. It is essential that the paper is chemically pure to prevent corrosion and that it should have a perfectly even surface.
Paper weight: 13-45 grams.

Aluminium Interleaving Paper
Thin paper is used in the aluminium industry as interleaving when the material is cut up into sheets and stacked. The paper must be completely pure to prevent corrosion and must also be given a static charge so that it clings to the aluminium plates.
Paper weight: 18-45 grams

Glass Interleaving Paper
Thin paper is used to protect the surfaces of sheets of glass when storing and transporting. The paper must be given a static charge so that it clings to the glass. The paper should also be porous so that suction pads can be placed on it to lift the glass.
Paper weight: 18-45 grams.

Heat Transfer Paper
The textile printing industry consumes a lot of paper. Instead of printing directly onto the fabric, the design is first printed onto a thin piece of very dense paper. Using heat, the pattern can then be transferred to the material. The major advantage of using paper at the intermediary stage is higher definition in the printed fabric. It is also cheaper to print and store paper than large quantities of fabric.
Paper weight: 20-40 grams.

Ghosting paper
In the textile printing industry, protective papers are used to cover transport felts to avoid ghost prints during sublimination process. Munksjö Thin paper are specialists in producing thin and dense papers which are suitable for this en-use.

OTC (One Time Carbonising Paper)
Carbon paper is used an intermediary layer for copying print from one document to another. This requires extremely dense paper quality as the paper is backed on one side with wax, soot and oil.
Paper weight: 17-22 grams

Grease-Proof Paper
The foodstuffs industry requires basic paper for direct contact with foodstuffs and plastic-laminated paper when the basic requirements are more stringent. The material is used for end products such as crisp packets, barbeque coal bags and margarine and chocolate wrappers.
Paper weight: 21-40 grams
