Munksjö Customer Event at INTERZUM Guangzhou 2026: a new chapter built for strong partnerships

On March 28, 2026, during INTERZUM Guangzhou, in China, Munksjö hosted an exclusive event to welcome partners and customers under the warm lights of the 42nd floor of The Westin Pazhou.

Set under the theme “A New Chapter. Built for Strong Partnerships,” the event marked an important milestone with the presentation of Munksjö’s strengthened organization and expanded capabilities following the integration of the Abrasives and E2P printed decor businesses.

More than 40 participants joined the evening, creating an atmosphere of open dialogue, curiosity, and forward-looking momentum.

A stronger platform for growth

The event began with a welcome speech by Florian Mayer, VP of Sales & Marketing Decor, reaffirming Munksjö’s long-term commitment to China and its goal to improve service and product offerings. Attendees were introduced to a more integrated organization, designed to be quicker, closer to customers, and more responsive to market needs.

“In today’s complex geopolitical and economic environment, staying close to local markets and engaging even more frequently with customers is essential. Our exclusive event in around Interzum China came at the right time to initiate new conversations and demonstrate how much Munksjö can support customers to navigate the current market conditions. The strong engagement and level of enthusiasm from participants confirmed the level of appreciation and value added by Munkjsö,” says Florian.

From applications to design expertise

Following this, our Sales manager in China, Ethan Yu, led a series of presentations covering key topics, including our local organization, core decor paper applications, outdoor product development, and our enhanced color and design expertise. Special attention was given to Munksjö’s solid-color portfolio and the E2P printed decors, showcased through curated mood boards displayed throughout the venue.

Collaboration through design

A highlight of the evening was the deep dive into color trends and design services. Ethan illustrated how Munksjö’s internal design team, supported by a global color network, can now offer richer expertise and a more collaborative development process for customers.

An evening of connection

The program continued with a Q&A session, followed by a seated dinner, during which discussions evolved into a more informal exchange. The evening concluded with a toast celebrating new opportunities and long-term partnerships.

Looking ahead

With strong engagement and positive feedback, the event reaffirmed Munksjö’s commitment to building lasting, value-driven relationships in one of its most important markets.
